Living Stories
The Workshop
Offer a hand to a book being written
Carbonari is being written in the open, and this is the door. If the story has given you something — a character who walked in uninvited, a complication the plot is asking for, a true detail of life in 1850s Lombardy — you may offer it here.
Short is welcome. One true detail is worth a page of invention. What arrives goes straight to the author’s desk; what earns its place goes into the book, and the Contributors’ Ledger keeps the names of those whose ideas made it in.
The rules, plainly:
· The author decides — every submission is raw material offered, nothing promised in return.
· Submitting grants the author the right to use and adapt the idea without payment, under the contributor terms. Read them before you send.
· Credit in the Ledger is a thank-you, not co-authorship or ownership.
· Submit only what is yours, and only if you are 18 or older.
